MEET OUR TEAM

Raised in a Stellenbosch home filled with music, Hans Roosenschoon holds a BMus degree in cello performance. It is largely due to his musical prowess, as well as his entrepreneurial flair and business acumen – qualities he portrayed from an early age – that led Hans to establishing a career for himself in the events industry. Being a formidable forward-thinker, Hans takes meticulous care of the management of the Group brand and business structure. He is constantly exploring new business opportunities and strategically integrating the diversity of services the Group’s portfolio of companies have on offer.

In addition to being conscientious and mindful, Hans is a “maximizer” who constantly aims for perfection. He encourages his team to always think innovatively, to strive for excellence, and, wherever possible, to break boundaries in the industry. With his intuitively strategic ability to navigate the Group’s operations and successes, it should come as no surprise that in his personal capacity, Hans is also a qualified private pilot and skipper!

Thabo is a perfectionist at heart and, as such, believes the devil is in the details. Fixated on progress, Thabo is a risk-taker whose flexibility and willingness to bet on himself and his team has paid off countless times.

Getting his start as an agriculturalist working in horticultural produce export, research and sustainable development projects, Thabo made a very lateral shift into the eventing and hospitality industry. Now, over a decade later, it remains one of the best decisions he’s ever made! Thabo took a leap of faith in partnering with what was then a boutique events planning company nestled in the heart of the Stellenbosch Winelands. He has since played an integral role in the exponential growth of what is The Aleit Group today.

One of Thabo’s crowning achievements was founding and establishing our Johannesburg office. He initially thought it would be more challenging to forgo his Winelands and coastal lifestyle. However, he has since developed a deep love for Jozi’s fast-paced lifestyle, and over weekends he enjoys a good glass of wine while unwinding in his urban playground.  A fragrance enthusiast and aspirant timepiece collector, Thabo is a true metropolitan man who also enjoys experimenting with and experiencing the latest technological gizmos.
